Lumber One Co., Inc. produces custom graded and remanufactured southern yellow pine components for crating and building needs, as well as a full line of Copper Azole (CAC) pressure treated products.
Established in 1989, Littleville is the flagship location for Lumber One. Located conveniently in Northwest Alabama near the I-65 corridor, Littleville is strategically placed to procure Southern Yellow Pine and distribute it throughout the Midwest and Southeast. The Littleville location specializes in the remanufacturing of Southern Yellow Pine, carrying a full line of boards, dimension and timbers to be remanufactured to customer specifications. In 2002, the Sheffield location became Billy Ray Casteel’s first expansion acquisition for Lumber One. This doubled the company’s remanufacturing capacity and added pressure treated wood to the Lumber One line of products. Being established as one of two Lumber One manufacturers in Northwest Alabama. The Sheffield location is conveniently located near I-65, allowing Southern Yellow Pine to be efficiently procured and distributed throughout the Midwest and Southeast. The Senoia location is co-owned and managed by Keith Skantz, who has 30 years experience in the forest products industry. With this expansion, Lumber One created an even stronger presence reaching to the east coast. Keith and his staff provide extensive market knowledge and products in the forest products industry. This office provides southern pine lumber, plywood, OSB, flooring, windows and remanufactured lumber and panel products. In 2017, the opportunity to create an additional office in Foley, Alabama presented itself. This further expanded the company’s ability to service the eastern and central zone with the addition of four new sales people.
